Planteray (formerly Plantation) has been putting out some stellar rums in recent years, including one of our all time favourites, the Stiggins Fancy Pineapple Rum! Mr. Fogg is a new release from Planteray, paying homage to the late Michael Fogg – one of the most influential historians and champions of classic British Navy style rum. This rum was actually released at the same time as a new book entitled Exploring 300 Years of Royal Navy Rum and Its Techniques. The Mister Fogg is a blend of rum from Barbados, Trinidad, Guyana and Jamaica. One of the calling cards of classic Navy Rum is a high alcohol content (known as Navy Proof) and this defintitely comes through having been bottled at 55.7% ABV. This is a limited release and definitely another one for the serious rum nerds and Tiki fans!
